Acheron monitors development
Elore/Solitude - 26.10.109; In the last week disturbing news has been coming out of Placid, suggesting that the Caldari organization APEX Conglomerate has moved to the area and begun operating alongside local pirates. As the Cyrene Initiative is involved in combat operations against APEX, Acheron is monitoring the situation closely before deciding to intervene.

Acheron announces new operational goals |

Elore/Solitude - 12.08.109; Solitude is aptly named. Cut off from the federal stargate network in one direction by the chaos of the Syndicate, and in the other by the Amarr Empire's border regions, both commerce and security in the region are difficult undertakings. Outside of a central area where the Federal Navy and CONCORD operate in force, the region is effectively lawless, roamed by pirates and local militias attempting to maintain a semblance of order, and industry and commerce are underdeveloped, fed only by local resources and goods imported by convoys in force and capital ships.

The second week of "Cry for Freedom", our operations against the Caldari Independent Navy Reserve and APEX Conglomerate in support of our supply operations towards the dissident Caldari Brothers of Freedom, has fallen, with little exception, into a lull of largely small scale, back-and-forth combat against the Caldari loyalist forces, and recent developments in the underlying Caldari internal conflict look likely to cement that status going forward. |

On 6 July, the Caldari Independent Navy Reserve began active interdiction of Acheron's humanitarian supply convoys to the Brothers of Freedom and the affected populace on rioting worlds in Caldari space. The following ten days have seen undeniably significant losses on our side, but the continued meeting of our wider objectives through the distribution of aid has ensured high morale, which bodes well for the results in space once tactical and strategic changes the situation has been shown to warrant are fully implemented. |

Acheron sends aid to Brothers of Freedom |

Acheron Federation today sendt a convoy of 3 industrial vessels loaded with humanitarian supplies to the Brothers of Freedom in an attempt to somewhat lessen the hardship they are suffering under the boot of Caldari oppression.
The convoy was intercepted by several ships dispatched by Caldari Independent Navy Reserve, who claimed the convoy was a violation of Caldari sovreignity, and proceeded in an act of provocation to conduct cargo scans of the peaceful Acheron convoy. |
